The lakeside Cottages at Bluebird Bay offer some of the best views of Lake Shafer from any accommodations in the area. All Cottages have two bedrooms, a living area, dining table, bathroom and a kitchenette. Each Cottage has a private lakeside deck for grilling, eating and relaxing.
The Cottages are the only units in which **dogs are allowed** (pre-approval is required).

standard cottage

Our standard Cottages (#1 Chickadee & #2 Hummingbird) have two queen beds and a full-sized convertible sofa (comfortable sleeps 1 adult or 2 small children). These cottages have a unique two-story setup with the kitchen and deck access on the lower level. The bathroom is separated into a half bathroom off the living room and a separate shower in one bedroom. Both cottages overlook the peaceful Honey Creek Bay and are close to the pool. Chickadee Cottage is located closest to the stairs leading to our boat docks and lake.

Stairs are required to access the lower level of each unit.

deluxe cottage

The Deluxe Cottage (Kingfisher) is our largest unit and most popular unit. It boasts a queen bed in one bedroom and a full over full bunk bed plus a twin bed in the second bedroom. In addition, it has a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. Kingfisher Cottage is on one level and has a traditional one-story configuration. The Kingfisher Cottage overlooks the peaceful Honey Creek Bay and is located at the edge of the property near the parking lot.

Stairs are not required to access this unit.

Please note that both Standard Cottages (#1 Chickadee & #2 Hummingbird) require the use of internal stairs. The Deluxe Cottage (#3 Kingfisher) is the only unit on the property that does not require internal or external stairs.
